Mods - Crusader Kings II
I have been waiting a full year for literally anything to happen. Somehow, between myself, the Queen, and the Spymaster, we've been unable to co-ordinate killing this guy? What the hell am I doing wrong? Showing 1 - 10 of 10 comments. Maybe you can "hire" more assassins to accelerate "destiny". If it's random chance then why even have a percentage? Jesus christ. Last I checked you get a bonus to MTTH for having lots of conspirators even if some don't add much to plot power. I forget the exact number The game is designed to prevent multiple simultaneous murder attempts; so, the flag tells the game that an ongoing attempt exists when it actually doesn't.
Cancel your plot then restart it. Think each break point is actually about Alongside that I believe the plot power affects MTTH and success chance as a modifier, rather than a direct success chance. I wanna say that each person in the plot gets a chance to fire it too so more can actually lead to either discovery or someone getting the event to launch it it is an event on the character side of things that needs launched. Having is normally better if possibly, to avoid negative outcomes when it fires.
Plus if the guy is paranoid he'll be far harder to actually find an opening against, since paranoid often means that the entire staff is hand picked and no one can be paid off so he doesn't get openings easily. It's boosts the MTTH for the plot to fire. Success rate depends on the type of assassination used as well as the traits of the character and the difference in intrigue skill.
Someone skilled in intrigue will frequently roll plots to kill some via poison or indirect means. A high martial person is more likely to roll violent plots like hiring thugs to murder someone, a diplomatic person rolls things like carriage drivers or smothering, a high steward is more likely to roll construction sabotage or explosive manure.
And high learning just seems to boost everything slightly. Children for instance have significantly reduced options for plots and will usually take longer to kill. Being in hiding or in prison only has 1 possible assassination type so they can take a very long time to fire as any result except that plot roll will be ignored.
Paranoid is a huge reduction in success chance while trusting is a large boost. Temperate makes plots involving poisoned wine less successful like Gluttonous is more likely. Kraek View Profile View Posts.

A: Check if either you or the character has the 'truce' modifier, which prevents war declarations on newly formed rebel counties and crusader states. A: Holy Wars can only be declared every 5 years by the same character.
If you have recently declared one, your character will have a modifier that blocks further Holy Wars until it expires. Skip to content. I have two contour maps in Matlab and each of the two maps has a single curve specifying a single Z-value. I want to super impose the two contour maps so that I can find the single solution where the two z-value curves intersect. How could I go about super imposing the two contour maps? The end result you seek is possible using contourc or using contour specifying the same contours isolines.
This answer extends this answer in Approach 1 using contourc and provides a simple solution with contour in Approach 2. You might ask " Why Approach 1 when Approach 2 is so simple? We can overlay the isolines since they share the same x,y domain. For example, they both equal 0. It is straightforward to clean these up for presentation. Learn more. Most dangerous job in CK2 is spymaster.
As Emperor of most of the known world I had six die under mysterious circumstances in a year once upon a game. Yeaaah I used to use the auto-stop plot function but I stopped. Those plots can be extremely useful when you need to imprison someone for unrelated reasons. Just check on them every so often, especially if there is a plot against someone important. Uncontroled plots are only safe in small realms. In big realms the possible backers are so numerous that a plot can fire within a few days.
If the stop plotting message isn't dispatched on day 1 by auto-stop it's usually too late by the time they get it. I mean by the time you have a gizzilion cousins you really stop caring about them if they get bumped off but it would be nice if your spymaster automatically tried to prevent plots against you or your immediate family Yxklyx View Profile View Posts. If the plot succeeds you can do nothing against the backers so "stop backing plot" is the only time you can get something out of them.
A better option would be a button you press to send 'stop backing plot' request to everyone since sometimes you want a plot to succeed. Last edited by Yxklyx ; 7 Nov, am. In CK2players battle against other rulers for control of various independent realms and kingdoms. In AGOTwhile the potential exists for the realm to fragment into multiple kingdoms, in practice it very rarely happens.
Some notable new features to mention; A new dueling engine so that lords may fight each other in personal combat on or off the battlefield; An all-new method for personal interaction between characters; Pets that sometimes greatly aid characters in battle; And a host of less significant but no less important features that together help create a solid and serious effort at bringing Westeros to life for gamers.
The mod also utilizes features from various other mods, listed in detail in the credits section. What if Stannis and Renly joined forces against Joffrey? What if Rhaegar Targaryen had killed Robert on the Trident instead of the other way around?
No game will ever be the same, whether you win or you die. I hope everyone has been enjoying 1. Ever since the Horse Lords DLC was released, some have been wondering what we are doing with the nomad mechanics, and why they weren't utilised in the 1.
We do intend to use them for the Dothraki, as they are pretty much made for them! However, currently the nomads are only active if the DLC is turned on, leaving them to be normal tribal rulers if not. This is not good for us as it means we would have to maintain both the old system for those without the DLC and the nomad system for those with it. For the next vanilla patch however, Paradox will be kindly adding a modding option allowing us to make the nomads active even if the DLC is not present of course making them still unplayable.
So we have been busy integrating the nomad mechanics ready for the next patch:. The mechanics are pretty much the same as they are in vanilla. Each Khalasar is divided into clans which compete for power within the Khalasar.
Each has a population and manpower which allows it to expands its armies, which function much like vanilla 'retinues'. Here is an example of a Khalasar which has taken over the whole Dothraki Sea:. One major change we have made is the fact clans, as well a significant chunk of their own clan, will not hesitate to abandon a weak Khal when they inherit:. The casus belli system is also similar to what we had before.
CK2 Console Commands & Cheats
Dothraki can raid their neighbours and defeat rival Khals, but only those who unite the Dothraki Sea can invade beyond:. The Jogos Nhai have also been integrated with the nomad mechanics.
Their main unique feature is the fact they are forbidden to make war on eachother, as their gods forbid them to shed the blood of their own people.
Instead they can either claim grazing lands in minor raids, or diplomatically expand:. This will all be in the next update once the next vanilla patch is with us. In the meantime if you want to learn more of the nomad mechanics you can read the vanilla dev diaries here: Forum. Here are some bonus screenshots, showing a couple of other small things that we have been working on:. We are aiming for a release this month.Home Discussions Workshop Market Broadcasts. Showing 1 - 15 of 20 comments. I far as I'm aware the only time you can press multiple claims at once against the same ruler is if you have multiple 'personal' claims.
That is where your character has strong claims on multiple counties most likely recieved by fabricating claims. So you can't press more than one Dejure claim against the same ruler at the same time. You either break the truce, or you assassinate the ruler you have a truce with and declare war on his successor. The point is to stop nations from steamrolling through Europe. You can have multiple wars against different opponents though. Lexx View Profile View Posts. You need to fabricate mutliple titles that belong to the same person.
Then declare war. Sntaching all their titles in one swoop and eliminating them as a landed noble. Best done with a highly talented chancellor and a young ruler in palce at the beginning for best effect.
I've taken entire dukedoms this way.Crusader Kings 2 Tutorial 🔴 How to Play CK2 in Under 30 Minutes Guide! [No DLC]
You can "press all claims" If you have mutliples of the same nature of claim against one person. So if you are declaring a war on a duke that say. Has three counties and you have fabricated claims on all 3 it will give you the option " press all claims. Marry people with claims to places you want. Then foster a civil war in the target country.
Beat up both sides whilst they are fighting each other a and grab every claim you can. And finally. Marry young landed lady nobles. High chances these lands they own will pass into your kingdom on their deaths. Last edited by Lexx ; 18 Apr, am.
Bmorekareful View Profile View Posts. I luv press all claims.
Try and fabricate several counties in a duchy, then you get the option. It would be nice if you could press all Dejure claims at once though. Becoming Emperor of Britania isn't as great if you have to conquer The Kingdom of England one county at a time.
